Sreada Push-Pull Connectors
Sreada manufacturers a range of low-cost, high-quality Lemo and Hirose compatible connectors. Lemo and Hirose-style connectors are often selected for their push-pull coupling mechanism which allows quick, easy mating and un-mating.
These are precision engineered, small-format, low-current, multi-pole, push-pull connectors. The affordability of our Sreada versions makes them more cost effective for use in general industry as well as traditional areas such as on medical and test equipment.

Independently Tested in Australia
Despite being lower cost, Sreada connectors are engineered to a very high standard from excellent quality materials. Connector-Tech ALS recently had some independent tests performed in Australia and the following is a brief summary of the results:
• Sreada versions mate well with other brands such as Lemo and Hirose
• Good continuity when mating Sreada with Sreada
• Good continuity when mating Lemo with Sreada
• Good continuous current handling capability
The test engineer's subjective impression of the overall quality of these low-cost Lemo and Hirose equivalents is also positive.
Mating Cycles and Contact Gold Thickness
Mating cycle testing of Sreada connectors with their standard gold plate thickness has shown no serious wear after 5,000 cycles which greatly surpasses the requirements of many customers.
The standard gold thickness for all Sreada contacts is 0.1532μm however they can also readily provide 0.5μm or 1.0μm thicknesses (similar to Lemo) at a moderate price increase, on request.
The SRD001 connectors are the Sreada equivalent of Lemo push-pull connectors which are excellent for applications requiring frequent/rapid connections and separations such as general electronics, instrumentation, video processing, medical and other equipment.
Here is a simple way to cross-reference from the Lemo version to the Sreada part – only the first letter of the entire part number changes:
The SRD002 connectors are equivalent to the Hirose HR10-series. This series has a lower profile in comparison to the Lemo style SRD001-series and has a five keyway design. They are often used in applications such as general electronics, instrumentation, video processing, medical and other equipment.
Sreada and Hirose part numbers are the same except for the shell size and contact style parts of the code as follows:
|Sreada Shell||Hirose Shell|
|Sreada Contact||Hirose Contact|
|S = Solder||Blank = Solder|
|C = Crimp||C = Crimp|
|P = PCB||A = PCB Plug|
|B = PCB Receptacle|
