Overview

This is one of the latest and highest spec military connector series. These D38999 connectors are extremely high standard circular metal connectors, designed for excellent performance in very demanding situations. They feature high contact density to minimize on space and weight, yet they are very robust and durable and offer good current and voltage specifications. They are environmentally sealed and utilize insertable / extractable crimp contacts.

• 1 to 128 rear release crimp snap-in contacts - sizes 12 to 22D to accept wires 12 to 28 AWG

• Corrosion-resistant shells of plated aluminium alloy, steel or stainless steel which are available in a variety of finishes
• Also available with composite (non-metalic) shells/housings
• -65 degrees Celsius to + 200 degrees Celsius (depending on finish selected)
• Scoop proof
• 500 mating cycles standard but 1500 cycles option available
• Accepts a variety of Mil-C-85049 backshells which are ordered separately
