Connector-Tech ALS Pty Ltd was originally called Colourview Electronics (established 1973) and distributed a wide range of electronic components.
Due to staff expertise plus the establishment of various distributorships, the harsh environment connector side of the business steadily grew over the years to the point where we changed our company name to Connector-Tech ALS Pty Ltd, all other details, including ABN remained unchanged.
In May 2010 in order to further emphasize the Connector-Tech ALS difference we added the letters 'ALS' to the end of our company name. ALS stands for Air Land and Sea, three harsh environment areas where our military and commercial connectors, backshells and accessories are used frequently with great success (Of course our products can also be used indoors or anywhere high quality is critical).
